Located near the 13th hole of Prospector Golf Course and central to almost all activiities in Suncadia, our home is an easy 10-15 minute walk to Swiftwater Cellars along the paved walking/biking trails. Live music Fri and Sat nights in summer, and outdoor patios. The home is also a 5-10 minute walk to Nelson Farm with plenty of outdoor activities for guests including archery, music events, kids movie nights and festivals. Dawson park is a 10 minute bike ride and includes a fun playground, grassy areas, basketball court, tennis/pickleball, dog run, picnic tables, restrooms, and a horseshoe pit.
Other fun things to do/see in Suncadia would be the Lodge, Swiftwater Cellars (easy walk), fishing pond where you can also rent kayaks and canoes, ice skating rink (winter), tubing rope tow (winter), bike rentals, several restaurants, Dawson Park (large playground, tennis, basketball - check-out play equipment).
A short drive (3.5 miles) to the quaint town of Roslyn where you can go to The Brick (famous for longest continuously running saloon in Washington State - kids allowed in restaurant area), lots of other excellent restaurants, Roslyn Brewery, Sunday summer farmer's market, cute shops, movie theater and more. See the filming location of the 1990's classic TV show, Northern Exposure.
Thimblecadia (Property OverView)
A contemporary chalet themed home situated in the heart of Suncadia. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, Thimbleberry it is a short walk to Suncadia Lodge and activities, Glade Spring Spa, Swiftwater Cellars and Nelson Farms.
This Timber Frame home caters to those looking to escape and get away from the daily grind. It invites those looking to be with friends and relax in an expansive great room and floor to ceiling stone fireplace along with an outside living space complete with gas fire pit, hot tub and covered patio dining area with BBQ. Inside the open floor plan features a bright gourmet kitchen (dual oven/dishwasher) with large island for gathering and separate 10 person dining table designed for seasonal family feasts.
This is the perfect getaway for couples or families. The master bedroom on the main floor showcases the homes mountain concept with a high ceiling exposed timber frame and king bed below. The master also includes separate his/her areas and double bathrooms along with a deep tub and adjacent private fireplace and huge walk-in closet. Their is another bedroom off the main dining space with a queen bed which includes an amazing stone fireplace and small office area.
The upstairs contains two bedrooms and another high ceiling coal miner inspired bonus room. The first bedroom has a simple but cozy design with a sitting area and king sized bed as well as their own private bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom contains a large custom six (6) bed bunk room with one queen and five extra long twins and connected bathroom. The bonus room is perfectly separated from the downstairs providing a secondary space for the kids to play, sit in large bean bags and watch movies on the 62" screen.
Back downstairs in the great room you will find a 65” TV with cable channels, ample seating area and a powder bathroom. Down the hall towards the 2 car garage converted into a game room, you will find the laundry room with plenty of space for jackets, boots and gear.
This home comes complete with everything you may need to enjoy your stay throughout all four seasons. There are plenty of activities around the neighboring towns of Roslyn and Cle Elum as well as in the resort.
Please note, this home is not part of the Suncadia Rental program and so access to the Fitness and Swim center is not included as part of your stay.
This home is perfect for your relaxing stay away at Suncadia Resort. While we can accommodate groups of a medium size easily we do not wish to be associated as a "Party House" or host rowdy groups stays. If you have questions about what this means, please send me your questions!

Additionally, we ask for a refundable damage deposit at time of booking. We would love nothing more than to return your whole deposit but it is there just in case. We have a high standard for this property and will hold our guests accountable if needed.
